Gertrude Hawk Chocolates To Implement Demand Management Solution From John Galt Solutions

ForecastX Demand Management Engine will provide Gertrude Hawk with faster and more accurate forecasting and inventory control

Chicago, IL., December 8, 2003- John Galt Solutions, Inc., a company focused on building solutions for the forecasting, demand planning and collaborative market space, today announced that Gertrude Hawk Chocolates will implement the ForecastX Demand Management Engine. Headquartered in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, Gertrude Hawk has been making fine chocolates since the early 1900's. Named after the family, their chocolates are sold in over sixty Gertrude Hawk retail stores located in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.

Gertrude Hawk will use the Demand Management Engine to produce forecasts for all their retail stores, and will integrate the demand requirements plan with their legacy system. Once implemented, the application will provide significant benefits, including faster and more accurate forecasts, as well as increased efficiency and visibility.

“What used to take hours and countless spreadsheets will now be an automated function, enabling our team to spend more time analyzing the forecast and demand requirements for over sixty retail outlets and gaining even better inventory control.” Said Bruce Cottle, Chief Information Officer for Gertrude Hawk Chocolates.
