Porex Enhances Sales and Operations Planning with Atlas Planning Suite from John Galt

CHICAGO, IL – John Galt Solutions announced today that Porex, a leader in porous materials development, manufacturing, and innovation has chosen John Galt Solution’s Atlas Planning Suite as its new sales and operations planning solution.

Prior to implementing John Galt Solutions, Porex had limited capabilities in sales and operations planning. The Porex team relied on legacy systems and procedures, to plan manufacturing that could not keep pace with the business.

Porex recognized the need for a state of the art technology that would support a new S&OP process, for its unique manufacturing case, and meet the needs of a very demanding customer portfolio.  After a thorough analysis, Porex chose John Galt’s Atlas Planning suite. Atlas’ flexibility will allow Porex to follow its mixed model production process, which includes flow, make-to-stock, make-to-order, and new/custom product production schedules.
